So-oo-oo… this was originally going to be fanart of Anders, thought you might be forgiven for not noticing due to me deciding to, a) draw it in a RIDICULOUS FUCKING PERSPECTIVE, and b) just randomly make up an outfit. That wasn’t due to lack of references, mind you; it’s a deliberate mash-up of both Tevinter robe styles in-game, as well as Anders’ concept art (which, to be fair, doesn’t look much like him either, so I guess I’m in good company). HOLY SHIT MAN I THINK YOU NEED MORE CRAP ON YOUR BELT, YEAH? Like more belts! And that’s seriously like the BEST PLACE EVER for a knife! Nothing at all could go wrong with having your knife there. FFS, Dee. Anyway. Despite every way in which this pic sucks, I do kinda like it. Even with the RIDICULOUSLY MELODRAMATIC POSE, which was the result of me snapping pictures of myself with PhotoBooth. Man, everyone’s armour in this game is outrageously complicated; three freaking panels and I think it took me like four hours to sketch, even in the supposedly “simplified” style. Pffft! Also: Anders and Varric have almost exactly the same hairstyle. Go figure.
