Anyway, similar to our last juke-joint Jezebel, here is her partner in crime, Sister Salvation herself, Delia Johnson.Dee (23, corporate IT drone) is the reincarnation of the Valkyrie Hlökk (“The Screamer”) and likes Silent Hill and professional wrestling. She’s seen here wielding a rolling pin and a road traffic sign; all the better to beat off draugr with during the end of the world.Don’t ask me what the hell she’s wearing on her head (it looks like a Gaia Online hat) or how it’s supposed to fit in with the rest of her outfit. She’s also supposed to look like she’s screaming, but in retrospect it actually kinda looks like she’s trying to take a dump.

Wayne Murphy, one of the Power Trio — along with Dee and Sigmund — from *sfaj (and #urbannordica Dead on Arrival). Wayne’s character design brief is something like, “demented goth-faerie Cyndi Lauper meets Power Girl”.Wayne (22, comic shop attendant) is the reincarnation of the Valkyrie Hrist (“The Shaker”) and has a deep abiding love of sparkling unicorns and martial arts. She can be seen here wielding a broomstick with a kitchen knife tied to the end; her weapon against the draugr in the first arc of *sfaj.Don’t ask me what her back-skirt is made of (mermaid fins by the look of it, hey). There’s so much lolnatomy in this, but I’ll probably colour it at some point. When my fingers stop aching. Or something. Mostly I just wanted to draw something that wasn’t Loki.

From the *sfaj short story, “The Hammer and the Con”.
This is a really, really awful scan (my “good scanner” is currently not playing nice with Win7, making me resort to the MFD), and I’ve since fixed up the awful foreshortening on Loki’s helmet in the paper version. I should rescan, but whatevs.

Seriously old, done for my husband’s little cousins (age 5 and 8) just after their father passed away.
I’ve subsequently been told this image has been photocopied and distributed to half of the primary school kids in Perth. That’s… nice, I guess.
